HWGChat is an independent streaming and chat platform that empowers artists to share their art in a safe space with others to enjoy.

We built it ourselves because we despise platforms like Twitch and Discord sharing people's data with government agencies and surveillance companies.

Your privacy matters here because we strongly believe that OUR privacy matters and are fighting to keep it that way.

What We Collect

We collect your email address in order for profile confirmation. This helps us keep our community safe by restricting anonymous accounts.

We do not ask for your name, address, location, or any other identifiers.

How We Protect Your Data

We use  Supabase  for our authentication and database functionality. All data is encrypted at rest in our database, the industry standard to ensure your information stays protected.

Chats are completely wiped from our servers, usually immediately after stream, to ensure your privacy.

How We Use Your Data

Your email address will never be shared, sold, or used for any purpose other than providing you access to HWGChat.

We DO NOT share data with government agencies, third-party analytics companies, advertisers, or anyone else.

Your Right to Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of all your personal information and any chat messages that may still exist at any time.

We built this platform specifically because we were tired of corporations treating users and their data as products.

Your privacy is not for sale here.

Message a chat admin or email support@hwgchat.com, and we will permanently remove your data from our systems.
